Meet Brenna
I’m Brenna Kelley-Clarke, Ph.D., a virologist and viral vector development leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing gene and cell therapy programs. I earned my doctorate at Harvard University and have led scientific teams in industry, most recently as Senior Director and Head of Vector Attribute Sciences at Bristol Myers Squibb.
At Bristol Myers Squibb, I led teams responsible for viral vector analytics, formulations, and process development. My work spanned AAV and lentiviral vector programs and included supporting manufacturing scale-up, analytical strategy, and cross-functional decision-making across development programs.
I founded Brenna Consulting to give gene and cell therapy organizations direct access to senior-level expertise in viral vector development, CMC, and analytics - without the overhead of building a large internal team. I help clients solve complex technical challenges, build practical development strategies, and make informed decisions from early research through regulatory submission and commercialization.
